Located on the site of a well established industrial estate just outside the town centre of Halifax, Davley's have steadily expanded over the years thanks to their reputation for quality and craftsmanship. The original founders, David Wilson and Martin Uttley, steadily built the firm with Mick Uttley continuing the family connection from his father. The Company became Limited in November 2003. The company currently employs a workforce of 18 engineers, supported by an office manager.
Whilst still focused on traditional engineering projects the company has more recently been commissioned to bring to life the ideas of leading sculptors. These large pieces of art now have prominent positions in town centre locations and have gained critical acclaim.
In addition, a reputation for high quality stainless steel staircases, balustrades and handrails are taking Davley's into more and more prestigious developments.
